Last week Lund Translation Team met to discuss our plans for 2016. We talked about guidelines for pricing when it comes to translation, editing and project management since we often work together within the team as well as with other translators.

Two members of the team attended a marketing workshop held by Neal Greenspan at Ideon in Lund last month and we did a little brainstorming to try and apply this methodology to each member. It is really important to take some time and think about what your unique selling point (USP) is. What is it that makes you stand out from the crowd?

I have a Master’s in marketing and have worked in marketing for over a decade before I started translating. That’s my starting point for my USP, but am still polishing it.

What is your USP?
